Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub // REVIEW

Hey guys! A little while ago I was sent the Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub* to try. This was just after I had finally finished my favourite body scrub, the Soap & Glory Pulp Friction, so I thought that it was great timing!

I tend to prefer scrubs where the scrubbing grit is quite big, otherwise, in my eyes anyway, it defeats the object a little. The ingredients are all very natural in this particular scrub and, as per its name, nourishing, because it includes bamboo, rice, macadamia and sweet almond! I adore the smell of this, it smells very much of frangipane and almond without being very sweet, so it would definitely appeal to lots of people.

It works very well on any flaky/dry skin that I have, without being too abrasive and taking off the skin you need (that sounds odd!) Even though it doesn't leave an oily layer on your skin, which I know a lot of people don't like, it doesn't dry my skin out at all and leaves my skin completely hydrated, I don't even have to use a moisturiser.

This is definitely my favourite body scrub at the moment, and dare I say it may be better than the Soap & Glory Pulp Friction! It is on the slightly pricey side, at £28.50 for 200ml, however if you did want to splash out it would be a great thing to put on your Christmas list or as a little treat for yourself.

Have you tried the Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub?

    1. Yeah mine goes like that sometimes, it's really annoying and completely defeats the object of using a body scrub! This one is really moisturising though without feeling greasy :)

  2. I've just tried this today after I received it as part of a blog giveaway prize and I loved it! I thought it was quite rough (I like scrubs reasonably rough though as otherwise there's not much point) but I went gently and I loved how amazingly soft my skin felt when I got out the shower. I think this is a new favourite for me x

    1. Oo lucky you! It is such a great body scrub isn't it? The thing I like is that it hasn't once dried my skin out, even if I don't use a moisturiser after :)
