Rock Beauty Nail Rock (Spring/Summer 2013 Collection) // REVIEW

Hi guys! I was lucky enough to be send some of the Rock Beauty "Nail Rock" designs from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Nail Rock are large "nail stickers" that cover your whole nail, you then fold down any excess at the ends of your nails and file it off.  Simple!

Nail Rock nail wraps come in all sort of designs, ranging from spots, to geometric stripes, to floral prints and lots more!

These claim to be such an easy thing to do instead of having to do your own nail art with all the fiddly dotting tools, tiny brushes and multiple nail polishes. Personally I just can't be bothered spending ages doing complicated nail art, which then takes a very long time to dry and will most likely smudge before it can even finish drying.

Each packet of Nail Rock comes with 16 nail wraps (in 8 various sizes), a cuticle stick, a file, and an easy-to-follow instruction guide. I really liked most of the designs I received, although I wasn't too keen on the floral set! I tried the black and white geometric print set (my favourite one).

I had previously tried cheaper nail wraps after being quite intrigued  by them, but the only word I could use to describe them is awful! They barely stuck to my nails and were just plain terrible.

The Nail Rock nail wraps were fairly easy to apply, thanks to not having to apply any nail glue, however I found that on the tips (where I filed any excess away) would be left quite tatty and rough looking. I am not quite sure if there is an "art" of being able to file any leftovers away, as they didn't look rough on a few of my other nails.

Apart from that I thought they were rather good. They stayed stuck on my nails for ages, and stayed whilst I washed my hands. The only thing I would say is that I don't think they would stay if you had a bath or possibly a shower, as the hot water would just be too much for the adhesive underneath the wraps.

All-in-all I was really happy with these, and I would most likely re-purchase them as they are definitely worth it and an easy alternative to doing actual nail art!

Have you tried any of the Nail Rock nail wraps before? What did you think of them? Please let me know in the comments! :)
